As an award-winning photographer, she thrives in collaborative environments and adores collaborating with other creatives. She is originally from a small, rural town called Sheffield, Iowa. She then moved to Waterloo, Iowa to attend Hawkeye Community College in 2019, and currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota as of 2021. She won the Presidential and Faculty Art Awards at the Hawkeye Community College Student Art Show in Waterloo, Iowa. The winning piece for the Presidential Award was a photograph of a secluded beach in Oregon which was displayed in the Hawkeye Community College Dean’s office. She had an additional photography piece shown in the Emerging Artist Exhibition at Studio ArtHaus in Decorah, Iowa.
